"Twist" Collection: The distinctive shape of hand-twisted metal
Typically, machines are used when bending a large quantity of small metal pieces for the single production of an item; however, these mechanics wouldn't be suited to a frame that's already handmade.
Masahiro Maruyama makes these twisted parts using a specialized jig in order to maintain evenness and the high quality. This enables the craftsmen to precisely twist each metal piece one by one, so each frame has a unique human touch.
